Since the belt system incorporated on both sides is kept on a 114 ball bearing guide, there will be no frictional resistance between surface and tread. The lower sliding friction ensures a performance optimised engine system to be used. By doing so, power is saved, which with conventional treadmills is converted into heat. Another advantage is that maintenance is only required once a year.
The T-beam system of the lamella is designed to provide a stable but also flexible absorbing tread. In connection with the particular rubber surface and the incorporated air channels the overall system can adapt itself perfectly to the frictional resistance and thus reabsorbs a large extent of the forces. It is particularly joint-friendly and moreover reduces body tension of the lower extremities.
